Business Continuity & Operations Recovery Plan

We are a provider of critical market data to the energy sector. We take the health and safety of our employees, and our stakeholders very seriously. Our business continuity and operations recovery plan was developed to help us manage an unforeseen disruption to our business and our services.  Since the timing and impact of such events are unpredictable, we will need to be flexible on how to approach handling the disruption of each event.  Business disruptions can vary in significance from impacting us alone, entire regions, and/or countries as we are experiencing with COVID-19.

People

• We are maintaining staffing and work intensity allowed under these unprecedented times.

• Our staff are working safely from home with full connectivity.   Given our ability to use virtual, video and teleconferencing, we are expecting to continue delivery of our services with minimal impact.

• If any employee is exposed to COVID-19, they will follow the instructions of local medical authorities without reprisal and all other employees affected will be contacted.

Critical IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity

• All our data is back-uped locally, externally and in a secure, encrypted cloud-based 100% private server.

• Our internet connections are secure and operated by a third-party.

• Our analysts are working remotely. Our databases are accessible from anywhere at anytime.

Operations

We will resume all business activities within 24 hours after the disruption has been resolved. At this time;

• We have put on hold outside meetings and office visits and are limiting internal office to essential work only until physical distancing measures are lifted.

• Our data research & collection continues with API support without disruption from most agencies, in the case of extreme regional crises (shelter-in-place) we will resume activities within 24 hours after the disruption.

• We are working closely with our consulting clients and our subscribers in order to minimize disruption to our critical services and publications while maintaining their health and safety.

• Effective immediately, no business travel will be permitted or approved.
